NOTICE TO INTERESTED
NOTICE OF HEARING UNION COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS SOUTH 12TH STREET LEGALIZATION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Union County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. in the Joseph Building Annex Conference Room, 1106 “K” Ave., La Grande, to review an application submitted by Union County to legalize the portion of South 12th Street from it’s intersection with Gekeler Lane south about 0.8 mile to where it becomes gravel (Bushnell Road) located in Twp. 3S, Range 38 EWM, Sections 8 & 17. Legalization proceedings identify the specific road right-of-way location and have been initiated because the location of the road cannot be accurately determined due to numerous alterations. The right-of-way boundaries have been surveyed and a map is available for observation in the County Planning Department office. The applicable regulations are found in ORS 368.201 to 368.426. Adjacent landowners and interested persons are invited to submit written or oral testimony on the legalization before or on the day of the hearing. The Board of Commissioners may adopt a new survey with such restriction as it deems reasonable.
