Information required to be published by Union County under ORS 294.250 is posted monthly and available for review at the Daniel Chaplin Building, 10011 4th Street and the La Grande Public Library. Gross monthly salaries of all regular officer and employees occupying budgeted positions is posted once annually on December 31. Copies of all or part of the posted information may be obtained from the county upon payment of a fee not exceeding the actual costs incurred by the county in making the copies. Publish: November 26, 2010 Legal no. 4182 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY VACATION The City of La Grande Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing at its Regular Session on Tuesday, December 14, 2010, which begins at 6:00 p.m. in the La Grande City Hall Council Chambers, 1000 Adams Avenue, La Grande, Oregon. The Hearing is to consider an application to vacate the South ten feet (10’) of “Z” Avenue; the West ten feet (10’) of First Street; the North ten feet (10’) of “Y” Avenue; and, the entire alley; all lying adjacent to or within Block 25 of RIVERSIDE ADDITION to La Grande; 609 “Y Avenue, T3S, R38E, Section 6AD, Tax Lots 1900 and 2000, La Grande, Union County, Oregon. The Application was filed by Phillip Hergert on October 26, 2010, and was accepted by the La Grande City Council on November 17, 2010. The applicable land use regulations are found in Chapter 8, Section 8.10 of the City of La Grande Land Development Code Ordinance Number 3081, Series 2009. This matter will be referred to the La Grande City Council in January, 2011, and February, 2011, for a decision on this matter. Failure to raise a specific issue at this Public Hearing precludes appeal to the Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals. A copy of the application and all information related to the proposal is available for review at no cost, with copies supplied at a reasonable cost. A Staff Report will be available for review seven (7) days before the Planning Commission Hearing, and can also be supplied at a reasonable cost.
