NOTICE OF COMMENT PERIOD UNION COUNTY TITLE III (PL 110-343) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Union County Board of Commissioners are considering the following projects for funding under Title III of P.L. 110-343: • Union County - Union County SAR Coordinator/Emergency Services Officer ($19,614) Category 2 Search, Rescue and other Emergency Services • Union County Search and Rescue - UCSAR Fuel Reimbursement ($8,000) Category 2 Search, Rescue and other Emergency Services • Heather Risseeuw & Oregon Dept. of Forestry - Cricket Flat Fuel Reduction ($21,000) Category 1 Firewise Communities Program. • Union County - Back Country Emergency Vehicle ($11,000) Category 2 Search, Rescue and other Emergency Services • Union County Search and Rescue - UCSAR Radio Project ($36,275) Category 2 Search, Rescue and other Emergency Services Education Opportunities As required by P.L. 110-343, the County will be accepting comments on the proposals until November 19, 2009. The project applications are available for review by contacting the Union County Commissioners Office, 1106 K Avenue, La Grande, 963-1001.
