The purpose of the meeting is for the North Powder City Council to obtain citizen views and to respond to questions and comments about the decision to sell the City’s part of the Fire Station building located at 340 E Street, tax lot 1400 in block 11, reference #9524 in the City of North Powder. The City Council has agreed to contract Fire and QRT services with the North Powder Rural Fire District and in so doing finds it unnecessary to own and maintain a Fire Station and so has decided to consider the sale of the Fire Station building. Written comments are welcome and must be received no later than Sept. 30, 2011 at City Hall, PO Box 309, North Powder, OR 97867.
