Publish: September 2, 9, 2011 Legal no. 4509 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CITY OF LA GRANDE, OREGON 2011 - SANITARY SEWER REHABILITATION PROJECT The City of La Grande invites competitive bids for installation of cured-in-place pipe. The project will consist of installing approximately 3,080 L.F. of 8-inch cured-in-place pipe, 450 L.F. of 22-inch cured-in-place pipe and reinstatement of service lines in various areas in La Grande. Services extending into the pipe shall be removed prior to relining the sewer main. A video for the lines is available upon request. This project will be subject to ORS 279.348 (Prevailing Wage Rates). Sealed bids for the described projects will be received by Norman Paullus, or his designee at the City of La Grande Public Works Department, Engineering Division, 800 ‘X’ Avenue, La Grande, Oregon, until 2:00 p.m. local time, on Wednesday, September 14, 2011, and then public opened and read aloud th same day, at 2:15 p.m. the contract time for all work shall be 30 calendar days. The City of La Grande may reject any bid not incompliance with all prescribed requirements listed in the Contract Documents, and may reject for good cause any and all bids upon finding that it is in the public interest to do so. Copies of the Contract documents may be obtained at the City of La Grande, Public Works Department, Engineering Division, 800 ‘X’ Avenue, or by phoning (541) 962-1333, with a nonrefundable payment of $15.00 for each set.
