PUBLIC SAFETY RECORD: Wednesday, July 9

Union County Sheriff’s Office

Arrested: Michael Samuel Armstrong, 24, unknown address, was arrested Monday on a charge of violating a no-contact order.

Vandalism: Vandalism to a vehicle was reported Monday morning in the 300 block of Highway 203 in Union.

Arrested: Jacob Alan Waibel, 21, unknown address, was arrested Monday on a Union County warrant charging violation of a release agreement on original charges of unlawful possession of heroin, unlawful possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Cited: Blake A. Baker, 20, Elgin, was cited Monday on charges of reckless driving and reckless dangling.

 

La Grande Police

Arrested: William J. Dayton, 21, unknown address, was arrested Monday on three Union County warrants charging: 1) failure to appear on original charges of first-degree forgery, first-degree theft, theft of identity and negotiating a bad check; 2) failure to appear on original charges of second-degree theft and theft of services; 3) failure to appear on an original charge of carrying a concealed weapon.

Accident: No one was injured in an accident near 100 Depot St. Tuesday morning.

Arrested: Brandin Lea Delapp, 32, unknown address, was arrested Tuesday on a Union County warrant charging third-degree theft.

Accident: An injury accident was reported Tuesday night at Hemlock Street and Adams Avenue.

Vandalism: Vandalism was reported at the Church of Christ Tuesday night. Suspects were located, counseled and removed from the church playground.

Arrested: Raymond Alcala Anguiano, 34, La Grande, was arrested Tuesday on charges of driving while suspended (felony) and two counts of second-degree theft.

Arrested: John Christopher Fabiano, 46, Elgin, was arrested Tuesday on a parole and probation detainer.

Arrested: Bryanna Richelle Eickstaedt, 28, unknown address, was arrested Tuesday on two Union County warrants charging 1) failure to appear on original charges of possession of meth and carrying a concealed weapon and 2) failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree theft.

Arrested: Ricky Giovanni Cruz-Perez, 21,  a state of Washington resident, was arrested Saturday on three Benton County warrants. One warrant was for a charge of unlawful drug paraphernalia use (misdemeanor). A second warrant was for a charge of obstructing a law enforcement officer and second-degree criminal trespassing. A third warrant was for a charge of second-degree trafficking of stolen property.


Oregon State Police 

Arrested: Aden Zane Deines, 20, Nampa, Idaho was cited June 21 on a charge of reckless driving. 

Arrested: Henry Louis Ducharme, 44, Union, was arrested on June 25 on a charge driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Arrested: Kirk Ray PIckens, 46, no address, was arrested June 27 on a Union County warrant. The warrant was for a charge of failing to appear in court.

Cited: Gabriel Isaac Blodgett, 24, La Grande, was cited June 19 on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender.

Cited: Gabriella Louise Wise, 18, Boise, Idaho, was cited on June 21 on a charge of permitting unlawful operation of a motor vehicle.

Arrested: Richard Ryan Hugi, 34, Meridian, Idaho, was arrested June 28 on a charge of reckless driving.


La Grande Fire and Ambulance

La Grande Fire and Ambulance crews responded to 12 calls for medical assistance, one call for a burn complaint and one fire alarm on Monday. It was a false alarm.

Crews responded to five calls for medical assistance and one fire alarm Tuesday. It was a false alarm.
