Our worst enemies

To the Editor:

The G-20 met over the past week to decide the fate of nations and to cement another brick into the wall of globalism, declaring: “We, the Leaders of the Group of Twenty, met in London on 2, April 2009. We face the greatest challenge to the world economy in modern times; a crisis which has deepened since we last met, which affects the lives of women, men and children in every country, and which all countries must join together to resolve. A global crisis requires a global solution.”

Under the guise of saving the world economy and reversing “irreversible climate change” the puppet masters have instructed their marionettes to come up with a world currency, controlled by, and a global carbon tax to be paid to the master bankers who will charge us interest on our own money and therefore gain even more control over the military-industrial complex and the monetary system.

The puppets, including the United Kingdom’s prime minister, the president of France and Obama emerged from their secret meetings with wide grins claiming to be our saviors. In reality they are our worst enemies.

These evil geniuses have created the very problems they claim to have the answers to. Using the false paradigm of Right vs. Left, the Hegelian Dialectic and Diocletian’s Problem, Reaction, Solution they empower themselves in their tyrannical quest for domination and a one-world power structure or “New World Order.’’

If you are interested in preserving what freedoms you have left for your children and grandchildren, I encourage you to watch “Endgame: The Blueprint for Global Enslavement” and “The Obama Deception.” Both of these documentaries are on YouTube and are impeccably researched with the facts presented in an understandable fashion.

Then write your state and national representatives and demand that they fulfill their oaths to “Protect and Defend the United States Constitution” and oppose global taxation and economic dictatorship.

Remember the answer for 1984 is 1776.

Protecting patients

To the Editor:

Enough! Conscience rights protection isn’t just about abortion or legalized suicide. These are the hot-button items people like to push. And it certainly is not about withholding medical information from patients. What an exaggeration and, no doubt, a scare tactic based on ignorance and drama. This is a popular technique to silence honest and educated professionals who want to do their job with integrity for the benefit of their patients.

My concerns are about the behind-the-scenes situations where a nurse or physician may be expected to give a “smidgen” too much morphine to an elderly or dying patient for the unspoken reason of ending their lives; to just “get it over with.’’ Nurses know when this is happening. Who would even know? That’s what a conscience is for. The recision of conscience rights could tweak medical ethics in the direction of simply doing what seems easier and most “efficient” in the name of “compassion.’’

Conscience rights protect our most vulnerable patients from a society that does not find value in the dying process. If you have ever been intimately involved with a dying person, you would understand the value of that experience — for the patient, the family and the health care provider. Life has a way of finding its own end in its own time. When we try to intervene and start thinking we know what’s best, we are entering a dangerous arena of possibilities. We are also eliminating a unique opportunity for families and individuals to say goodbye, to heal and to become more evolved, compassionate human beings.

Do we need this legislative maneuver? Or is it simply political payback for someone? Legislators are playing with fire when they make deals like this.

Before you pass judgment on your dedicated health care providers, consider spending a day or two with a hospice nurse or visit a children’s cancer ward. Life is precious no matter how it may look to the outsider.

Leave health care providers alone and show some respect. It’s not about “us.” It’s about our beloved and most vulnerable patients, who will someday be you.
