Letters and Comments for April 3, 2009
Please, officer, let me explain To the Editor: This is the letter that I’ve printed and left on the dashboard of my car in case I’m stopped by an officer of the law about my studded tires still being on my car. Greetings Officer, Yes, my studded tires are still on this vehicle. As of this writing, Wednesday, April 1, I have 5 inches of new snow in my driveway. I live in Summerville. Need I say more? I’m working at Anthony Lakes Ski Resort Saturday, April 4. I believe it would be unsafe to take my studded tires off the vehicle, even if I could get someone to do the job. Please forgive and forget. If that’s not possible: Thanks anyway for all you do on behalf of the public. Without you we’d all be in a world of hurt. Alan MacLeod Summerville
To the Editor: I realize people in Union County are very reluctant about embracing the truth of life, which has nothing to do with religion. If you happen to know of someone who’s out of work or down on their luck, there is help. There are powerful metaphysical energies circling this planet. If you teach yourself to align those energies with the energy which is you, it’s quite possible you’d be on the right path, in life, to secure the abundance in all positive areas you seek. Whether it’s health, funds, home, relationships, security — you name it and it’s possible. Your entire life is up to you and you alone. Richard Jones La Grande |
