Won’t give up

To the Editor:

I represent homeless children through Plan Oregon through Northeast Oregon Spiritual Center. I sponsor children in Pakistan and Bolivia and Plan International is 1.5 million sponsors strong.

There’s no radio station or TV station that I’m aware of who carries news on a regular basis about homeless children or life, which, in America, that’s a shame. Just read the newspaper and you’ll learn I don’t give up without a fight.

For over four years, I’ve published ads about life in The Observer, receiving only two phone calls for my efforts to date. If you know enough about life, there is nothing whatsoever to worry about — you will be well cared for. For I’ve learned to trust myself. Quite a feat when you gain confidence through knowledge of life.
