Thieves strike twice

To the Editor:

We purchased a house on Jackson and Spruce in December. So far we have had one EOU stadium pad and one package stolen from our property in the last six months. The pad was used by us because of our backs and was stolen from our back porch — 10 feet from the sidewalk.

The package was a gift for my 4-year-old grandson’s birthday and was a helicopter. It was stolen from our front porch, which is also about 10 feet from the sidewalk. He was very disappointed that he never got this gift because some loser stole it!

I hope the person or people who took these items are enjoying them as much as we would have. I am disgusted with the theft in this neighborhood where you can’t even have anything outside without it being stolen.
