Have some respect
One morning, I was in the computer room at Cove Library helping my daughter log in to her school typing program. Two female patrons entered the front room and began loudly repeating the lewd deeds of former U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner. We left abruptly. The Cove Library is small and cozy but it is not a private living room. Please behave with respect for others. This is our community treasure. Mary Cooke Cove
We are new to La Grande and just moved in near the corner of Sixth Street and N Avenue. Over the weekend, while we were picking up our last load of belongings, two small items disappeared off our porch. Missing are a small white wooden bunny and a small ceramic angel baby. They are not worth much money, but the angel baby is precious to me as it belonged to my deceased mother-in-law. If you live in the area and have seen them or if you or your children know someone who might have acquired them, I would just like the angel baby to come home, no questions asked. I am sad to have lost her. Jean Inneraity La Grande |
