Still not convinced

To the Editor:

Wind farms, political spin farms,

Every mountain top has waving arms.

Look up, folks, sound the alarm,

Your bucks are blowing away —

because of those ugly, energy-squandering wind farms.

Please consider: Horizon won’t build wind farms unless they get Oregon tax dollars, tax breaks and a chunk of your tax money that is desperately needed

elsewhere.

Horizon plans on producing a product that is presently in “over supply” with no viable way to store it.

Our electrical transmission lines are overloaded. Once produced, how will the energy get from here to there?

Have you heard any facts that convince you to support wind farms in Union County? I haven’t.
