Support Union library
Do the patrons of the Union Carnegie Public Library know that it may be necessary to cut the library budget by approximately $30,000? This is about half of the library’s budget. This will make it necessary to significantly cut the library’s hours. Did your children enjoy Art in the Park last summer? The summer reading program? Participating in the library float during stock show? Story time three times a week? The computers? Books, movies and puzzles? As an adult, did you check out the library books? Enjoy the audio books and large-print books? Make use of the wi-fi? Use the fax or copy machine? Have books delivered to your home if you were unable to come to the library? Enjoy the large selection of movies? When you came to the library, did Louise greet you by name? Help you on the computer? Order a book from another library for you? Give your children a treat as they left? If you are one of the many who enjoy our library, please let the city council know how important it is to your family.
