Benefits Rural Action

To the Editor:

When you order your seeds this year you can financially support Oregon Rural Action, a local sustainability organization, at no extra cost to you.  

Territorial Seeds, a family-owned seed company from Cottage Grove, offers a seed-selling fundraiser to non-profit organizations. When you order Territorial seed through Oregon Rural Action at the regular retail price, 45 cents of each dollar you spend goes directly to ORA.

The deadline to return your order to ORA is March 16 and seed arrives one to two weeks later.

To participate and support this local organization, stop by the ORA office for a catalog and order form. We’re located at 1702 Fourth St. in the upstairs of White House Coffee. Or you can download the order form online at www.oregonrural.org.

My name is Ryan D. I’m a fifth-grade student at Harlan Intermediate school in Harlan, Iowa. My class is studying the geography of our country.

I chose the great state of Oregon because I’m a huge fan of the Oregon Ducks football team!
