Working together

To the Editor:

Those of us who live on East Bryan creek (Little Creek) in Union are so grateful to all the people who helped fill sandbags and put them in place early in the morning May 16.

Friends and family members, high school students, people from the fire department and city workers responded. Work began around 3 a.m. and continued throughout the day.

It’s good that everybody sticks together.
