BRIEFLY: Weigh in on the state budget this evening

The Oregon Legislature’s Joint Ways and Means Committee will kick off a series of public hearings on the state budget tonight at Eastern Oregon University in La Grande. Members of the committee will travel to La Grande on Friday and take public testimony from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Gilbert Center, adjacent to Ackerman Hall. This is an opportunity for the public to provide testimony to the budget committee on priority issues. All are welcome to attend.
