A last-second, heartbreaker of a loss like Friday’s 77-76 defeat to No. 10 Northwest Christian University could’ve hovered over Eastern Oregon University for days, possibly weeks.

Yes, it’s only mid-January.

But the Eastern Oregon University track and field team begins its indoor season today and Saturday when the Mounties travel to the Ed Jacoby Invitational in Nampa, Idaho.
