CLASS 4A BASEBALL: Tigers season comes to an end in blowout loss
The La Grande baseball team suffered a blowout loss to end the season, falling at North Marion 12-3 in the OSAA 4A quarterfinals.
"This was a disappointing loss," head coach Parker McKinley said. "We played poorly out there."
The No.12 Tigers only had one day of rest before the game after earning an upset victory over No.5 Scappoose. However, the Tigers were unable to pull a second consecutive upset over the No. 4 Huskies.
With the loss, La Grande ends the season with a 17-12 overall record and a 9-3 mark in the Greater Oregon League.
