JOSEPH — Pendleton native Ben Londo stole the show Wednesday at Harley Tucker Memorial Arena, winning two events on opening night of the Chief Joseph Days Rodeo. Londo won the bareback riding event (70 points), as well as the Saddle Bronc (73). Tony Mendes won the bull riding event, posting 84 points, and was also the lone rider who stayed atop the bucking bull for eight seconds. Action will resume in Joseph tonight at 7 p.m.
