Cove cancels football game

COVE — The Cove High School football game against Pomeroy (Wash.) set for Friday has been canceled due to a schedule conflict, Cove athletic director Bruce Neil confirmed.

CHS tried to find a replacement game but was unable to put anything together.

Instead, Cove will have a bye this weekend and will return to action Sept. 21 when it hosts Union.
