District schedule changed

La Grande Rain Roofing will play its first game at the American Legion Baseball District Tournament Thursday instead of Friday.

John Day dropped out of the six-team tournament Tuesday, causing a new schedule to be developed, Rain Roofing manager Dave Mellinger said.

La Grande will play Pendletons Daves Food Mart at 5 p.m. Thursday.

If La Grande wins, it will play Hermiston at either 1 or 2 p.m. Friday, Mellinger said.
