EOU TRACK DOES WELL AT STANFORD INVITE
PALO ALTO, Calif. Personal records were shattered and national qualifiers emerged for the Eastern Oregon track and field team on Friday, the first day of the Stanford Invitational.
Brian Crowl set a personal record of 15 minutes, 23.29 seconds in the 5K. Tim Riley and first-time participant Sean Williams are national qualifiers in the 5K. Riley ran a personal best 14:54.09, while Williams ran his second fastest time (14:28.50) in school history.
Pat Egelus ran a personal best 4:01.20 in the mens 1,500.
Kelsey Jones time of 17:41.88 set a personal and school record in the 5K. Jones is also a national qualifier. Katlin Lafferty also set a personal record in the 5K with a time of 17:55.5.
