Eastern Oregon University used the two wins to grab the third-place seed in the Cascade Collegiate Conference.

“It was really odd to be standing out on the floor with my parents,” senior Grace DeBoodt said, talking about the pregame senior honors. “I thought about this day during the season, but can’t really believe it’s here.”
The Mountaineers took care of business on the floor during a 25-20, 25-18, 25-21 win.
Senior Ashleigh Dailey led the offensive attack with 11 kills.
DeBoodt collected eight kills and 10 digs.
“It’s an important win,” DeBoodt said. “We still have a chance to move up in the conference.
“We’re getting better at the right time of the season.”
Jessica Lea finished with a team-high 16 assists and 14 digs.
Senior setter Chelsea Herron dished out 12 assists.
Seniors Danielle Kelley, Noelle Carstens and Julie Butterfield each had three kills.
“It was nice to get all the seniors time on the floor,” EOU head coach Kaki Morehead said. “We didn’t lose our rhythm.
Warner Pacific was led by Leah Gradwohl with 10 kills and 12 digs, while Melita Elliot had 17 assists.
Saturday, EOU locked up the third seed for the conference tournament with a 27-29, 25-17, 25-16, 25-22 win against Concordia.
Dailey continued her dominance at the net, recording 17 kills.
Sophomores Lea and Melanie Ceciliani had 13 and 11 kills, respectively.
Lea also had a team-high 30 assists.
DeBoodt finished with 11 kills and 10 digs.
Chelsea Herron had 30 assists and 10 digs.
The Mountaineers end the season with a 15-8 overall record, and a 13-5 conference mark.
EOU will open the conference tournament against Southern Oregon in Caldwell, Idaho, Friday.
Concordia, the No. 4 seed, will play the College of Idaho in the other playoff game Friday.
The winners will square off Saturday for the conference’s automatic berth into the NAIA National Tournament.
