The Eastern Oregon University football team hosted its annual Family Fun Fest and Blue/Gold Game Saturday while getting a weather sampler.

The Mountaineers had the opportunity to play in all that Mother Nature could hand out, as it snowed, rained and had sunny conditions during the     90-minute scrimmage.

According to Mountaineer coach Tim Camp, the team and coaches got an opportunity to see some of the things they will have to work on before the Rollin Schimmel scrimmage Saturday in Pendleton.

The Mountaineers rotated through four quarterbacks during the scrimmage — sophomores Jason Simonis, Chance Hendrickson, Ray Walser and redshirt Trent Brown.

The sixth annual Eastern Oregon University Rollin Schimmel spring football game will be sponsored by The Order of the Knights of Pythians.

The Mountaineers will travel to Pendleton to play their end-of-the-spring schedule classic at Pendleton High School.

The game is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
