JV SOCCER TEAM FINISHES WITH 8-2 RECORD

A 4-0 win Tuesday over Hermiston kept the La Grande junior varsity girls soccer team undefeated against JV competition this season.

Sarah Noyes scored two goals and Kylee Winkler and Jenn Hubbard each scored goals against the Bulldogs. Kari Wagner assisted on one of Noyes goals.

Noyes led La Grande with 11 goals this season, followed by Crystal Kevan with nine and Kelsey Woodfield with six.

La Grande went 7-0 against JV teams and did not allow a goal. Rachel Brouwer had six shutouts and Kristen Cathey had the other as goalkeepers.

La Grande also went 1-2 against varsity teams.
