Joseph falls to Condon-Wheeler

CONDON — The Joseph Eagles had too many penalties and turnovers in their season opener Friday night. The Eagles lost to the Knights, 46-8.

"The score would have been closer if not for the turnovers," Joseph head coach Josh Harmon said. "We had turnovers at some crucial moments."

Wyatt Warnock scored Joseph's lone touchdown. Harmon said that Kayden DeLury and quarterback Blair Beaudoin both played well. He also credited his offensive line, including center Raymond Seal and guards Eric Hogg and Dustin Johson.

"They all blocked really well," Harmon said.

Full stats weren't immediately available.
