HOOD RIVER Three La Grande Swim Club swimmers had top-two finishes Friday through Sunday at the Columbia Gorge Summer Invitational swim meet.

Austen Randolph, 11, won four races while teammate Dylan Whitelock-Wolff, 11, won once.

Mandy Randolph, 17, had her top performance in the 200-meter backstroke, where she finished second in a personal-best 2 minutes, 38.47 seconds.

Austen Randolph won the 200 individual medley (3:05.30), 100 butterfly (1:27.26), 100 individual medley (1:23.34) and 50 butterfly (38.53).

Whitelock-Wolff beat Austen in the 50 freestyle, winning the 12-under boys race in 32.69 seconds to Randolphs 33.65.

Whitelock-Wolff finished second to Randolph in the 200 individual medley (3:19.01) and the 50 butterfly (41.15).

Whitelock-Wolff was also second in the 50 backstroke at 39.75. He finished third in the 100 freestyle at 1:15.78, a place behind Randolphs 1:12.60. Whitelock-Wolff was also fourth in the 100 butterfly (1:48.10) and the 100 individual medley (1:28.72) and seventh in the 100 breaststroke (1:50.62).

Austen Randolph was second in the 100 breaststroke (1:37.30) and third in the 50 breaststroke (44.82).

Mandy Randolph had two third-place races, in the 200 breaststroke at 2:58.56 and the 100 butterfly at 1:08.02. She was fourth four times: 50 freestyle (28.00), 100 backstroke (1:14.82), 200 individual medley (2:31.84) and 100 freestyle (1:02.01).

She was also fifth in the 200 freestyle at 2:20.12 and seventh in the 100 breaststroke at 1:23.48.

The La Grande Swim Club will compete Thursday and Friday at the Eastern Oregon District Swimming Championships in Pendleton.
