Madras beats Tiger boys in first round

CORVALLIS Madras overcame a 15-point first-half deficit this morning to beat the La Grande Tigers 60-56 in the first round of the OSAA-U.S. Bank Class 3A State Boys Basketball Tournament at Gill Coliseum. La Grande plays Henley or Marist at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Corvallis High School.
