On to the college ranks. Joseph guard Megan Yost signed a letter of intent to play basketball at the University of Montana Western, according to head coach Kevin Engellant in a news release on Monday. Yost averaged 11 points and 10 rebounds for Joseph this season, helping the Eagles (29-0) win the OSAA Class 1A state title. She also earned second team all-state and first team all-league honors in both her junior and senior seasons. “Megan will be a great addition to our program and our campus,” Engellant said in his news release. “She is a very athletic player who runs the court well and is a great rebounder. “Megan is a tremendous student who works hard in the classroom and on the basketball court.” Yost is the daughter of Dave and Marianne Yost. She has a 3.78 GPA and has been named to the Joseph High honor roll in each of her four school years, and is also a member of the National Honors Society. |
