NYSSA NITE RODEO BEGINS THURSDAY

NYSSA — The 57th Nyssa Nite Rodeo starts Thursday and runs to Saturday. Rodeo action will begin at 7 p.m. at the Oregon Trail Arena.

Thursday has been designated KSRV Family Nite with admission prices of $12 per family. Thursday night is the merchant calf tie. In addition, Muttin Bustin, Jr. Bull Riding will be available for children nightly.

Rodeo action continues Friday and Saturday night with the Frontier Buffalo Ride.

Lon Hatch is this year's rodeo announcer and Bo's P-9 will be furnishing the stock. ED White is scheduled to appear as the clown. The Rawhiders Drill Team is scheduled to perform Thursday and Friday night. The new Nyssa Nite Rodeo Queen will be crowned during Saturday evenings' performance.

"Country Bound" will highlight the annual cowboy dance with their music in the Fiesta Farms sheds from 10 p.m .to 2 a.m. Saturday; open to all ages.

The rodeo sponsors are Owyhee Distributing, U.S. Bank, M&W Market, KSRV, Pepsi Cola and Klamath First.
