HERMISTON — Golfers from Cove, Enterprise and Wallowa competed at the Hermiston Bulldog Invitational over the weekend.

The Enterprise duo of Cody Hopkins and Jarrod Snook led the Outlaws by each shooting an 88 on the par 70 course.

Teammate Damon Greenshields shot a 94, while Cody Irish carded a 98 and Dakota Jenkins shot a 99.

For the Wallowa boys, Karl Wellen matched Hopkins and Snook by shooting an 88 of his own.

Salvador Mendez followed with a 103, while Chaz Murray shot a 125 and Blake Sherod carded a 141.

Drew Noble led the Cove boys with a 96. Dylan Pretti carded a 104, including a birdie on the par-4 12th hole. Colton DeMeerleer shot a 112, and Taylor Boguist shot a 121.

Justin Fields and Joel Geschak of Goldendale had the low individual rounds, both carding 82s.

On the girls side, Jill Morton led the Enterprise charge with a 95, just a stroke off the pace set by first-place finisher Blake Greenup of Heppner. Teammate McKenna Miller was five shots back with a 100, while Hayley Riggs shot a 104.

The teams will be in action Friday at the 2A Invite at Wildhorse Golf Course.
