La Grande records second consecutive mercy-rule win, blank Bulldogs

BAKER CITY — La Grande continued a pair of streaks following a 30-minute thunderstorm delay against the Baker Bulldogs Tuesday.

The Tigers (5-0) recorded their second consecutive mercy-rule win against a Greater Oregon League opponent, this time defeating Baker 10-0 by halftime.


Cove netters beat Union, fall to Joseph

COVE — The Cove volleyball team had mixed results this weekend. The Leopards picked up a 3-1 (25-21, 20-25, 25-18, 25-11) non-league victory over Union Friday but fell to Joseph 3-1 (14-25, 23-25, 25-18, 18-25) Saturday.
