GODFREY GETS HAT TRICK FOR SELECT SOCCER TEAM

PENDLETON La Grandes A select soccer team tied Pendleton 4-4 Saturday.

Michael Godfrey scored three goals and Jason Karrels added the fourth for La Grandes eighth-grade team.

KEVAN, WOODFIELD LEAD GIRLS JV AGAINST BUCKS

PENDLETON Crystal Kevan and Kelsey Woodfield each scored two goals for La Grande High Schools JV girls soccer team in Tuesdays 5-0 win over Pendleton.

Kayla Arritola also scored a goal for La Grande, which showed improved defense and passing.

The JV team plays Friday against the Fruitland, Idaho varsity team.
