Saldana breaks 200 feet, record in javelin

Freshman Pancho Saldana broke both a school record and 200 feet in the javelin Friday at Eastern Oregon University's Blue and Gold track meet.

The Mountaineers were competing against athletes from Treasure Valley Community College and Northwest Nazarene University.

Saldana is a graduate of McLoughlin High in Milton-Freewater.
