Allie Godfrey, 14, won three events —400 freestyle (5:29.52), 100 butterfly (1:18.7), 200 butterfly (2:55.85). Logan Gomez, 14, won the 200 backstroke (2:53.23.)

Also, 11-year-old Shelby Baker, who won all of her events at the La Grande Invitational June 28, swam well once again. In The Dalles, she won the 400 IM race (6:52.53).

Eight-year old Miranda Beeson won the 100 breaststroke (3:44.84), and 15-year old Emily Cook won the 200 backstroke (3:01.79).

On to the boys.

Matt Cook, 13, won five events (200 backstroke, 50 freestyle, 100 backstroke, 100 freestyle, 200 freestyle).

Then there’s the Tovar brothers. Justice Tovar, 8, won five events (50 backstroke, 100 freestyle, 50 butterfly, 50 breaststroke, 50 freestyle), and Dale Tovar, 11, won two events (100 backstroke, 400 IM).

Thirty-four kids from the LGSC will compete Friday through Sunday at the Pendleton Invitational.
