EOU recorded its third straight conference win with a 1-0 win over the Oregon Institute of Technology Friday.
The Owls entered the game 8-1, but couldn’t stop the surging Mountaineers.
Goal keeper Allison Seymour had six saves in the shutout.
The Mountaineers’ streak ended Saturday in Ashland.
Southern Oregon dominated on its home turf 4-0, to snap EOU’s three-game winning streak.
The Raiders took a 1-0 lead into the half, but Southern put 10 shots on the net with three sneaking past Seymour.
Southern Oregon out-shot EOU 25-6.
The Mountaineers are alone in third place in the conference standings with a 3-1 record.
EOU will host Corban College Friday at 2 p.m.
