Tigers send three to state

NYSAA — The La Grande Tigers tennis team had its ups and downs at the district tournament Thursday.

Three doubles teams punched their tickets to the state tournament.

Maggie Yeates and Josi Lyman will be the lone girls headed to the Eugene swim and tennis club Thursday.

The boys doubles teams of Erich Mielke/Michael Baxter and Griff Schireman/Richard Mills are also headed to state.

Complete results will run in Saturday’s edition.
