Tigers best rival Baker again

In the previous three meetings this season between Baker and La Grande’s boys basketball teams, the Tigers have won by a combined 10 points. So going into the fourth meeting of the season, you shouldn’t expect anything less than a close game.

And the teams delivered Saturday night.

The Union County Foxes U-14 ASA softball team placed 3rd in the Silver Bracket at the Sportsplex Invite tournament hosted by Walla Walla the weekend of April 28th and 29th.

Hailyee Hamilton of the Blue Mountain Embroidery T-ball team appears to be batting by braille as she lines up the ball in preparation for her all-business swing at the Greenwood fields Wednesday evening. The emboldened Embroiderers battled the veteran ragin' Rain Roofers in a 5-6 year old T-ball league matchup that ended in a hard-fought tie.
