Officials worried about change

Proposed changes to floodplain regulations have local authorities concerned

ENTERPRISE — Concerns of federal agencies forcing local jurisdictions to monitor floodplains for endangered salmon and steelhead prompted Marc Stauffer of Enterprise’s planning commission to learn everything he can about the impending rules. 


STIP projects identified for region

Ladd Creek culvert among projects slated for 2015, ODOT says 

ENTERPRISE — Wallowa and Union county road projects funded through Oregon’s Statewide Transportation Improvement Program have been identified and scheduled for the next four years.

Eight Eastern Oregon counties met Monday to discuss upcoming projects that are fully funded and scheduled for construction between 2015 and 2018.
