UNION COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION

CONDITIONAL USE/SITE PLAN

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Union County Planning Commission, meeting in regular session, January 22, 2007, 7:00 p.m., Daniel Chaplin Building, Earle C. Misener Conference Room, 1001 4th Street, La Grande, will consider a Conditional Use/Site Plan application submitted by Union County, James Challis, agent, to establish a 40' x 100' steel building for concrete fabrication and pre-casting on property located in the La Grande/Union County Airport Light Industrial Park (moving one lot west of his previously approved site) and described as Twp. 3S, Range 38 EWM, Section 24DC, Tax Lot 700, about 1.35 acres, in an I-1 Light Industrial Zone.

The applicable Land Use Regulations are found in Articles 12, 16 & 20 of the Union County Zoning, Partition and Subdivision Ordinance and the UCZPSO La Grande/Union County Airport Light Industrial Park Development, Performance & Maintenance Standards. Failure to raise a specific issue with sufficient specificity at the local level precludes appeal to LUBA based on that issue. The application and all information related to the proposal are available for review at no cost and copies can be supplied at a reasonable cost. A staff report will be available for review seven days before the hearing, and can be supplied at a reasonable cost. VARIANCE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Union County Planning Commission, meeting in regular session, January 22, 2007, 7:00 p.m., Daniel Chaplin Building, Earle C. Misener Conference Room, La Grande, will consider a Variance application submitted by Kenneth & Penelope Diebel, Dwayne Martin of the Grande Ronde Mennonite Church, agent, to vary from the 10 acre minimum lot size for property in an R-3 Farm Residential Zone to partition approximately 15.68 acres into a 5.46 acre parcel and a 10.22 acre parcel. The property is located north of the City of Cove, on the north side of Lantz Lane and described as Twp. 3S, Range 40 EWM, Section 10C, Tax Lots 400 & 500.
