I, Boyd Rasmussen, Sheriff of Union County, do hereby certify that, by virtue of a Writ of Execution issued out of the Circuit Court of the State of Oregon for Union County on the 21 day of March, 2007, on a judgment rendered by said Court wherein Becky S. Jordan, (fka Haney) is the plaintiff, and Barry Donald Haney and CAM Credits, Inc., an Oregon corporation is/are the defendant(s), said Writ of Execution being in favor of the plaintiff and against the real property of said defendant(s), together with written instructions commanding me to make sale of all the right, title, claim and/or interest of the defendant(s) in and to the following certain real property, and directed me the Sheriff of Union County, Oregon, I did on the 30 day of March, 2007, at the instance of the above-named plaintiff levy upon all the interest of the within named defendants, of, on and to the following described real property:

Commencing at a point 60 rods and 11 feet west and 17 rods and one foot north of the southeast corner of the northwest quarter of Section 18, Township 4 South, Range 40 East of the Willamette Meridian; thence West along the line of land conveyed to G.J. Bateman and wife (deed book 113 page 299, Union County) a distance of 11 rods and 14 feet to the east line of land formerly owned by S.E. MIller (deed book 102 page 82); thence North 80 feet; thence East parallel with said Bateman land 11 rods and 14 feet; thence South to the point of beginning.

Notice is hereby given that I will on the 3rd day of May 2007, at 10:00 o'clock A.M., in the lobby of the Union County Sheriff's Office, located at 1109 K Avenue, La Grande, Oregon, sell the right, title, interest and/or claim of the defendants in the above described real property subject to redemption as provided by law, to the highest bidder for cash, in hand, at public oral auction.

SALE WILL BE SUBJECT TO ANY AND ALL PRIOR LIENS.

COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT

LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE AMENDMENT

FIRST READING OF ORDINANCE BY TITLE ONLY

Notice is hereby given that the La Grande City Council will conduct a Public Hearing during its regular meeting on Wednesday, May 2, 2007, which begins at 6:00 p.m., in the City Hall Council Chambers, 1000 Adams Avenue,

La Grande, Oregon. The Hearing is to consider proposed amendments to the City's Land Development Code Ordinance 3047, Series 2006, and Comprehensive Plan Ordinance 3038, Series 2005, to incorporate The La Grande Bicycle and Pedestrian Improvement Plan. The application was filed by City of La Grande, March 2007. The Public Hearing may be continued to the subsequently scheduled, Regular Session of the City Council.

Pursuant to Section 34(33), of the City of La Grande Charter, the following entitled Ordinance will be read for the first time by title only at the above-mentioned City Council meeting:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA GRANDE, OREGON, AMENDING LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE ORDINANCE NUMBER 3047, SERIES 2006 AND COMPREHENSIVE PLAN ORDINANCE NUMBER 3038, SERIES 2005, AMENDING THE TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM PLAN TO INCORPORATE THE

LA GRANDE BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENT PLAN

A copy of the proposed Ordinance is available for public inspection in the Planning Division, City Hall, 1000 Adams Avenue.

The applicable land use regulations are found in Chapter 8, Article 8.9 of the City of La Grande Land Development Code Ordinance Number 3047, Series 2006. Failure to raise a specific issue at the Public Hearing precludes appeal to the Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals. A copy of the application and all information related to the proposal is available for review at no cost, with copies supplied at a reasonable cost. A Staff Report will be available for review seven (7) days before the Hearing, and can also be supplied at a reasonable cost.
