WEAVER LEADS LOCAL GRIDIRON STAR IN PUNT, PASS & KICK

Landon Weaver posted the top score at the local NFL-Gatorade Punt, Pass & Kick competition.

Weaver, 13, had a combined score of 246 feet, 7 inches to win the 12-13-year-old boys class. Weaver punted the football 75-5, passed the ball 89-9 and kicked the ball 81-5.

Other age group winners in Saturdays competition were Richie Carmichael, 216-0 in 10-11 boys; Tyler Harshfield, 137-7 in 8-9 boys; Shilo Olmsted, 95-10 in 10-11 girls; and Shelby Hasse, 71-8 in 8-9 girls.
