Karen and Carl McClellan have started a new business, Indigo Child, located in Pats Alley on Adams Avenue in La Grande.

We offer tie-dye in the hottest colors, they said.

Also featured will be clothing, candles, lots of crafts, beaded jewelry, window decals for cars, they said.

Tie-dye items can be custom ordered, with customers providing their own material or utilizing the stores material, including T-shirts, socks, scarves, hats or whatever.

T-shirts they have in stock range in size from infant to 6X-Large for adults.

The McClellans opened their business in Pendleton in August 2000 before deciding to relocate in La Grande.

Im from here and no one else here was doing tie-dye, said Karen McClellan.

Carl said he had lived mostly in Pendleton but had moved around a lot since his father had been in the military.
