Girls from La Grande High School will take to the football field Wednesday night in the annual Lady Tigers Powder Puff Football Game.

The game, sponsored by the La Grande Optimist Club, begins at 7 p.m. at Community Stadium. Proceeds from tickets sales go to help LHS.

The game will feature frosh and senior girls against juniors and sophomores. The teams have been practicing evenings at Optimist Field.

Tickets for the game are $2 in advance or $3 at the gate. Advance tickets are available at the high school and Wendells Corner.

The Powder Puff game has become an annual tradition in La Grande.
