IMBLER Is a new elementary classroom building in the future for the Imbler School District?

The possibility of building a new elementary school will be among the issues discussed when the Imbler School Board meets for a work session Tuesday. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in room 1 of the high school.

Board members will discuss a study of Imbler Elementary Schools facilities made by R.S.S. Architecture of Woodburn. The firm examined the condition of Imbler Elementary and has looked at the feasibility of the school district building a new elementary school or conducting major renovation work.

Imblers main elementary building was constructed in 1912, and the schools east wing was built in 1954. Wade Hall, the elementary schools gymnasium, was built about 70 years ago.
