Cowboys Bill Justus, George Gillespie and Terry Blanc earned a trip to the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association College Rodeo Championship Series, held at the Golden Spikes Event Center in Ogden, Utah, May 23-25.

The rodeo combines the top-10 finishers in each event from three regions (Northwest, West Coast and Rocky Mountain) into a three-day rodeo that sends the top-7 to the College National Finals Rodeo held June 11-15 in Casper, Wyo.

Justus will participate as a team-roping header. He is currently ranked ninth in the NAIA Northwest region.

Gillespie will compete in the bareback and saddle bronc events. He is fifth overall in the region in bareback and 10th in saddle bronc.

Blance will go as an alternate as four bull riders failed to advance to the CRCS.

David Temple is the first alternate as the team roping heeler.

Performances being at 7:30 p.m. MT on May 23-24, and then a matinee on Saturday, May 25 at 1 p.m. Finals begin that night at 7:30 p.m.
