McANDIE, TUCKER IMPROVE SCORES

CORVALLIS — Todd McAndie and Tyler Tucker of La Grande had better scores Tuesday than they did Monday at the Trysting Tree Golf Club during the 2002 PGA Junior Series.

McAndie shot a 75 on the par-72 course, shaving a stroke and giving him a two-day total of 151 in the 16-17-year-old boys division. He is in a three-way tie for 11th place, six strokes behind Mitch Berg of Gresham.

Tucker cut four strokes off his Monday score, shooting a 75 Tuesday for a two-day 154 and a three-way tie for 18th place.

The three-day event concludes today.

The Corvallis stop is the fifth on the PGA Junior Series. The next event is July 1-3 at the Ridgecrest Golf Club in Nampa, Idaho.
