UNION — The second annual Tee Off for United Way sponsored by The Observer fielded 15 teams with 60 total players Friday at Buffalo Peak Golf Course.

The team of Craig Braseth, Doug Wylan, Mike Rahn and Monte Reed finished in first place with a score of 59 and $240.

In second place was the team of Cedric Shanks, John Howard, Tony Boyd and Jeff Wilson. They received $200 after a score of 64.

Third place fell to the team of Marilyn Fallow, Trilla Deal, Linda Linklater and Candy Brooks. They scored a 65 and received $160.

Linklater won the ladies' long drive on hole No. 11. Brooks won the ladies' closest to the the pin on hole No. 3. Deal won the ladies' long putt on hole No. 18.

Dennis Spray won the mens' long drive on hole No. 9. Jesse Steele won the mens' closest to the pin on hole No. 15. Roger Akers won the mens' long putt on hole No. 18.
