What has 9/11 meant to you? What were your thoughts last September? How has your life changed? What are your thoughts about 9/11 today?

The Observer is seeking reader submissions for a special section marking the one-year anniversary of America's worst homeland tragedy.

The goal of the section isn't to relive the events of last Sept. 11, but to recognize how far we've come since that terrible day.

Submissions should be 500 words or less. They are due by 5 p.m. on Sept. 4.
