ESD SERVES UP VARIETY OF CLASSES

A number of classes are being offered by the Union-Baker Education Service District.

Three will begin Sept. 17:

Oil painting of Mt. Shuksan, a four-week class, taught from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays for $50, plus supplies.

Beginning Spanish is an eight-week course from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays for $55.

American Sign Language is a six-week course from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays for $55.

Organizing a home office, a one-day class on Sept. 18, will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for $20.

Organizing project space, a one-day class on Sept. 19, will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for $30

A four-week class on a water-color painting of Fish Hook Inn will be from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. every Thursday beginning Sept. 19 will cost $50 plus supplies.

Journaling your way through grief, a one-day workshop, will be from 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 21 for $25.

Flagger certification for $75 will be from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sept. 23. Students will be certified by Chemeketa Community College of Salem. The class is approved by the Oregon Department of Transportation.

Creative writing, factual fiction, will be offered Sept. 25 and 28 with field trips Oct. 2 and 9 for $45. Students will use real settings, history and characters to write fiction.

Beginning conversational French will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Sept. 24 through Nov. 14 for $45.

Organizing a small business office, a two-day class, will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. beginning Sept. 25 for $30.
